The Full Story
Jasonville Assembly of God is rich in history. Dating back to 1913, and being one of Indiana's first Penecostal congregations, founding pastor Rev Z.D. Wallace preached a revival in Jasonville. The early days of JAG were times of great revival and substantial growth. In 1921 the building was built and still serves as the main sanctuary today.

In the 80's came Rev. Samuel J. Bush who not only successfully served for 36 years but saw the completion of our ministry center. Pastor Bush laid the foundation for the future success of Jasonville Assembly of God.

Today, JAG is led by Rev. Kyle A. Walsh. Pastor Kyle is excited to not only see growth at our church but also to cultivate Christ-centered relationships within the local church.

What We Believe
One True God
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. The Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man and is the only one who can reconcile us to God. Each time we partake of communion we remember Jesus lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
Salvation
We believe Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. We believe that The baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance.
